Bored of triathlon and ironman? Need an extra challenge? And if you participated in the Finistèreman Everial, this tour of Finistère by swimming, sailing, cycling and running, in total autonomy.
The Finistèreman Everial is an offshore race coupled with an ironman, circling Finistère, and born in 2019 in the imagination of Stan Thuret. 3 meters of swimming, 800 nautical miles of navigation, 120 kilometers and 180 of elevation gain by bike, to finish with a 1-kilometer coastal trail… Almost 900 hours of individual racing! But how far will they go?
The course of the Finistèreman Everial
The swim start is from Pors-la-Forêt towards the first transition. This navigation stage goes around the tip of Finistère towards Roscoff in the North. The cycling stage takes athletes in the lands from North to South to Port-Manech, the starting point of the sumptuous trail on the coastal paths.

A new record
Saturday July 11, the team of Stan Thuret, François Gabart, Thierry Chabagny, Alan Roberts, and Conrad Colman, set a new record. Team Everial Stan finished the Finistereman Everial in 26 hours, 2 minutes and 10 seconds. The previous record so far went to Stan Thuret, creator of the event which had completed it alone in 38 hours, 6 minutes and 17 seconds.

A challenge open to all
Records are meant to be broken and limits to be crossed. It is in this spirit that the Finistèreman has become a race open to all, pro athletes or amateurs. The events can thus be carried out individually, in teams or in relays, and on all types of boats.
