The Fishing Accommodation label has been prepared in partnership with the AAPPMA La Gaule Vizilloise club. the Camping Ser Sirant is the only establishment in the South Isère region to have it! Le Camping Ser Sirant is an idyllic place for sailing lovers. Pleasure, relaxation, conviviality, sport, escape or surpassing oneself... Sailing is an activity that can appeal to the greatest number of people, young and old.

For novices, sailing can be an opportunity to discover a new fun and varied activity. Sailing is also synonymous with fresh air and relaxation. Once on the water you don't think about the rest. You are focused on your pleasure of being on the water, lulled by the wind and the lapping. You will access the lake directly from the camping. Along the beach the depth is only 1,5 meters. At camping you can also use and store your own equipment along the bank.

Just 50 meters from the Nautical Club of Cholonge will welcome you with professionalism and sympathy. They are privileged partners of the Camping Ser Sirant.

By staying at Camping Ser Sirant, you will access a huge playground for mountain hiking. Indeed the camping is located at the foot of Thabor, Grand Serre, summits of the Alpe du Grand Serre massif.

A land of hiking
Several emblematic hikes are strongly recommended. The peaks of Taillefer and Thabor or the refuge of Font Turbat, for example. These truly dazzling destinations are popular with families. Also go for the hike to the city Cholongé, the hike to the Piss Waterfall and Perrier. Of course the Ecrins National Park awaits you with all its possibilities.
Le camping is also attached to the Matheysine region,. It consists of a plateau that goes from Laffrey to La Mure. There nest 4 lakes, the largest of which is the Laffrey Lake. camping is also located south of Lake Laffrey, backed by the Grand Serre mountain. This configuration offers a great choice of walks and hikes. No less than 850 kilometers of paths are marked out for you! The easiest is the flat hike to La Mure. The most difficult is the ascent of the Grand Serre.

The hike of forked lake.
This route starts 20 minutes from camping. You reach the village of La Morte, passing through very beautiful mountain villages. After the resort of the Grand Serre massif, turn right on the small road to Lac du Poursollet. Park near the lake to get ready to climb to Lac Fourchu which is on the side of the Taillefer massif. From the lake, you will have an unobstructed view of the Ecrins massif, Alpe-d'Huez and Belledone... This medium-difficulty hike is possible with children from 8 to 10 years old.
300 kilometers of circuits have been newly marked and are operational on the Matheysin plateau. Some circuits cross the town, for loops from a few hours to several days between lakes, forests and gently sloping mountain pastures!

Mountain biking is a must in the region. There is also a dynamic and unifying association around mountain biking, La Matheysienne. It is run by enthusiasts who want to share, discuss and introduce people to their territory by mountain bike. The association is based in the commune of Pierre-Châtel in the heart of the Matheysin plateau at an altitude of 900 metres. This plateau offers an incredible playground for mountain biking.
