The partners of camping, Buena Vista Rafting and Action Aventure, will make you live adventures that meet your expectations in the heart of the largest canyon in Europe.

Gorges du Verdon

Since camping, you will only be 5 kilometers from the entrance to the Verdon grand canyon. The gorges are only 40 kilometers away. To get there, you will take the exceptional road that runs through the canyon. The breathtaking panoramas will put you in condition for your canoe descent.

Once arrived at the starting point, it's time to start the descent in solo or duo. Between Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, La-palud-sur-Verdon and Castellane, several routes are accessible. For families, the lower gorges are ideal. Between Esparron-de-Verdon and Quinson, a little frequented route is a real corner of paradise. Between the Taloire bridge and the Suns bridge, an 8 kilometer descent is possible over several hours. For the more athletic, continue to the Sublime Point to descend 12 kilometers. Finally, for seasoned adventurers, the complete descent passes through the famous Assommoir, Styx corridor and Estellier footbridge...

Lakes of Castillon and Sainte-Croix

For those who would prefer canoeing on calm waters, the deep blue of the lakes of Castillon and Sainte-Croix are perfect.

  • Castillon lake
From the bay of Touron to Saint-Julien-du-Verdon, navigate by kayak or canoe with 2 to 3 seats, to Saint-André-des-Alpes. Throughout your excursion, take advantage of the small coves and sheltered beaches to cool off with a swim.
  • Lake of Sainte-Croix
You will have to drive a little more to reach this lake, but the show will also be there. It is indeed the largest of the Verdon lakes. Its magnificent body of water is perfect for canoeing adventures and discoveries. Do not hesitate either to go through the peaceful gorges of Baudinard. They are ideal for the youngest.

Many other nautical activities are possible on the Verdon and on the lakes. Rafting, paddle, aquatic hiking, sailing and pedal boats await you. For each of them, wearing a lifejacket is compulsory. Vacationers and their children must also know how to swim and control their boat.
