Peach

Fishing enthusiasts will find their happiness at Camping Lake. The surrounding rivers and the lake of Villefort will be perfect spots. They will allow you to practice different fishing techniques. Fario or rainbow trout, gudgeons and minnows will be there. You will find a lot of information around the lake, at the Accueil Pêche et Nature du Lac de Villefort building. For those who prefer to fish in the river, the Altier will surely meet your expectations. A first-class river, its granite pebbles offer many caches for trout, minnows and good-sized gudgeons. 

Accro-parc and Paintball

Accro-park

Accro-parc Mas de l'Ayre welcomes you all year round by reservation. You will find 10 courses suitable for all levels. For beginners and children from the age of 2, choose a gentle initiation. The more sporty routes await experienced adventurers looking for thrills. Varied and fun courses, zip lines, original workshops, there will be something for everyone! All of the adult courses require approximately 3 hours. 

Paintball

On a plot of four hectares, fitted out with natural and modular materials, you will establish your strategy. The slope of the terrain will still require good physical condition. Tactician or kamikaze, become an outstanding strategist!

The Vallon du Villaret

Come and visit this original park, the flagship activity of Lozère. At 1000 meters above sea level, this park designed for families combines nature, games and art. It offers activities around installations made by artists. The park, both a contemporary garden, an art center and a playful amusement park, will awaken visitors to art and curiosity. A unique concept that is worth the detour!

Via ferrata

5 kilometers from Camping Lake, get your fill of thrills with this via ferrata course. The route is laid out on the rock face which overlooks the lake of Villefort. It is accessible to families, with or without supervision by a state-certified instructor. Experienced climbers will enjoy a more difficult course. Need adrenaline? Take the 70-meter zip line. Chills guaranteed!

Lozère Farms

To discover an agriculture that invests in the preservation of the environment, let yourself be tempted by an original and fun route through farms in the region. You will thus discover the reasoned agricultural practices adapted to the Lozère territory. Each visit lasts about 3 hours and will be animated and commented by a guide. A nice experience and an immersion in the world of agriculture!

Natural heritage

• The petrified forest of Champclauson
  This vestige of the mining heritage of the Cévennes is listed in the world list of remarkable petrified forests. Through a fun trail and an exhibition hall, you will discover how these dense forests that covered the surface of the earth millions of years ago have gradually petrified, transforming the trunks of trees rich in silica , in fossils. 
• Païolive wood
  This ancient forest is mainly made up of oak trees. It conceals geological and historical curiosities. A true vegetable and mineral labyrinth, it is one of the most beautiful curiosities of the region.
• The Chassezac gorges
  They form one of the most spectacular canyons in the region. The beauty of its landscapes and its breathtaking panoramas make it a unique element of the Cévennes. Its watercourse with a steep drop allows the practice of white water sports and its cliffs reserve famous climbing spots for amateurs. Hikers will find many circuits criss-crossing the gorges. Each visitor will be able to enjoy its sandy and pebble beaches nestled in the hollow of the gorges.
