Sillans-la-Cascade is very popular because this small village in the Var offers one of the most beautiful waterfalls in France. Hiking Full View
This hike offers breathtaking panoramas on the Montdenier ridges, the Mourre de Chanier and the Chiran summit… But also on the Sainte Croix lake, the Verdon gorges and the Valensole plateau. The climb is in the shade of a dense oak grove which thins out near the summit, where the panoramic view is incredible. Thereafter, the pines accompany you throughout the descent to the nature reserve of Saint Maurin and its waterfalls. You will leave for a loop of 14.3 km and 1215 m of altitude difference, on the heights of the crests of Plein Voir.
