Great hiking trails

Among the many routes that cross the department, the GR 34 accompanies the hiker on the entire coastline that is more than 850 kilometers. It comes with multiple variations. the GR 38 crossing the Black Mountains from Douarnenez to Motreff over more than 110 kilometres. the GR 37 passes from the bay of Douarnenez to Carhaix via the Monts d'Arrée. Finally the GR 380 offers around the Monts d'Arrée. As close as possible to camping, in the country of Quimperlé, take the time for a half-day or a day's walk.

Itineraries for everyone

Whether by the sea, in the forest or in the city, you are bound to find the hike that suits you. Choose your circuit among the 22 offered by the tourist office. Between the discovery of the small heritage or quite simply the contemplation of the nature which surrounds you, you will be surprised by the density of paths. A green way is also from Scaër, on the site of the old station in the direction of Rosporden or in the direction of Guiscriff. Registered under number 7, it offers a choice of safe walks accessible to pushchairs and people with reduced mobility. In a loop, 1,9 kilometers long, this trail descends along the banks of the Isole where accessible fishing pontoons are installed. It then crosses the arboretum to return to the starting point.
